We offer you a variety of exercise classes - from bowling to Pilates - to meet your interests and needs.  For those who prefer to exercise independently, we offer the MERCK Fitness Room as an option. 

 


 

 

 

Bowling

Fridays 10:00 AM

Earl Bowl Lanes.  390 Morwood Road, Earlington.  Ask at the counter to join the Encore Experiences League.  Cost is $2.50/game.  

 

Cardio Dance Class

Thursdays 6:30 PM     Cost:  $1.00

This class will warm you up, get your feet moving & your heart beating to the sounds of favorite oldies combined with dance moves of the past and present.

 

Core Fitness

Thursdays 9:15AM
Cost: $1.00

A variety of exercises including use of ball to strengthen your core.

 

Gourmet Weight Wise

Managing cardiovascular risk through nutrition and exercise
Tuesdays, October 4 to December 13    12:30PM
Note: No class November 22

The emphasis in this series of classes will be on Cardiovascular Diseases and Nutrition, with wonderful recipes prepared for those who attend.

 

Line Dancing

Thursdays 10:15 AM

Beginners are welcome.  You’ll enjoy a mixture of country western, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s era and show tunes.  You’ll really impress the grandkids at the next family wedding!  Join Jane for this FUN class. $2.00 Class Fee

 

MERCK Fitness Room

Treadmill, Stationery Bike, Nu-Step; take your pick!  Our Fitness Room gives you the opportunity to exercise whenever it's convenient for you.

  

Pilates with Paula

Tuesdays 9:00 AM

These exercises focus on enabling a person’s body to feel stronger by building a long, lean abdomen.  Pilates increase circulation, strength, range of motion, flexibility, coordination and stamina.  Bring a sticky mat if you have one. Clothing should be loose and comfortable.  $1.00 class fee

 

Stretch & Tone

Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 9:45 AM

We work on the whole body in this class.  The stretching exercises will keep you flexible.  Strength training exercises use hand weights and stretch bands. $1.00 class fee

 

Shuffleboard

Across the street in the park. Equipment available at the Center. All you have to do is show up!   

 

Tai Chi

Mondays and Wednesdays 10:45 AM

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese practice designed to exercise body, mind, and spirit. It will improve flexibility, gradually build muscle strength, and improve balance.  $2.00 class fee

 

Tap Dancing

Fridays 10:30AM

Open to all levels.  Have fun while learning easy routines. $1.00 class fee.  

 

The Pace Setters

Every Monday 9:00AM
Lower Salford Township Park

Meet at Encore Experiences at 8:55AM. Car pooling may be available. Wear good fitting walking shoes, comfortable clothing, and bring water. If unsure of location see Michele.

 

Walk-aerobics

Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 9:00 AM

This is a low-impact (no jumping up & down) aerobic class—good for your heart & lungs.  Very easy to do, no fancy steps, just basic walking with arm movements to great music. $1.00 class fee
