Areas Of Interest Classes/Clubs
You are invited to attend any of the following regularly scheduled programs that meet your interest. Class/meeting times are noted in the program descriptions.

Art Class
Get your creative juices flowing at our Monday afternoon art class. Each week, at 1:00 PM, instruction is available in all media. Each student works at his or her own pace, with individual instruction from Pat Wilson-Schmid. Bring your materials; easels are available at the Center. Members may display their work in the art hallway. $1.00 class fee.
Book Club
Second Thursday of the month 9:30AM
Feed your Brain. Join the book club. Call Encore Experiences to find out the book title if you are new to the group.
BINGO for Bucks
Bingo for Bucks is now held every Monday afternoon, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM (except if there is a special program on tap). Cards are one dollar each, two games per card. Light refreshments served.
Clip and Save
Second Monday every month 10:00AM
Are you a coupon clipper? Join this group for those who are frugal and fabulous! Cut coupons for yourself, the Military, or swap them. Bring your coupons and scissors.
Coin Club
Do you have some old coins you'd like to know the value of or want to get the latest in the series of State Quarters? Coin Club is the place to be. Stop by the 2nd Thursday of each month, at 2:00 PM. Who doesn't love to talk about money?
Computer Use
Use our computers in the library to create letters, documents or spreadsheets or spend time e-mailing the grandkids on the Internet.
Craft Club
Third Friday of the month 10:30AM-11:30AM Cost: $5.00
R-U-A CRAFTER? Or always wanted 2-B-1? This class is 4-U. We will share new ideas, learn new skills and techniques. View samples prior to classes.

Creative Writing Group
Third Thursday of the month 1:15PM
Calling all novice and accomplished poetry, essay, and story writers. Bring a pen, a notebook, and a sense of humor.
Little Studies
Third Friday of the month 2:00PM
Join a discussion group with Mark Hoffman using the series of pamphlets that he wrote called “Little Studies”. No particular point of view will be advocated. Call Encore Experiences to find out current topic. Materials will be provided one week prior to the class.
Sew and Chat
First and Third Thursday every month 9:30AM
Join others who enjoy quilting, knitting, crocheting, or other needle work, and meet for friendship and fun. Instruction will be available from Rosetta Troutman
Tuesday Trivia
Where are French Fries really from? Which US President had the most children? When was the hot dog invented? If you need to know, be sure to stop by the library Tuesdays, from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM for mornings filled with brain-teasers and laughter.
Woodcarving
This class meets every Thursday at 9:30 AM and is open to anyone who enjoys working with wood or who would like to give it a try. Instructor, Art Herbicek, is glad to show newcomers the ropes. Donations accepted for materials as needed.
